Here’s another little exercise that can be used with the Vipr.
Here the Vipr is being used to load a forward lunge. The great thing about using the Vipr for this is that you can manipulate the Vipr in a number of ways during the movement (many more than are shown in the video such as rotations, leans, raises) to create different stabilisation challenges for the body. Make sure the movement comes from the hips and knees and the body remains strong at all times.
Try the exercise with different weights too for some different challenges. The weight here was 16kg so there was quite a challenge to maintain control but it loaded up the eccentric (landing) part of the exercise nicely!
